Kitchen Extraction Cleaning

In any commercial kitchen the extraction system is the biggest element at risk of fire. Most kitchen fires originate in the extract system – grease is highly flammable and a fire inside the system can destroy an entire building within minutes.

Our technicians are fully trained and certified to the required Grease Hygiene technician standard set out by BESCA. Hy5 is also a fully audited member of the BESA VHR scheme

Laundry Extraction Cleaning

Laundry Extract ducts should be cleaned frequently due to the vast build up of lint from drying high volumes of laundry. Lint is a highly combustible material which poses a serious fire risk.

All building owners have a responsibility under the fire safety reform act 2005 to minimise fire risks within a building they manage with laundry ductwork often being an easily overlooked fire risk.

Ventilation Cleaning

In any ventilation system there will be a build up of dust and debris which not only creates a potential fire risk, it also provides a habitat for mould and pathogens that can spread through the ventilation system and into buildings. These pathogens are the leading cause of illnesses to building inhabitants.
